Several productions I have been a part of have not only been shoots, but live activations as well. In this case, Meta approached us wanting to come up with some kind of activation for the Threads platform to happen live during the NBA Cup Semifinals and Finals games held in Las Vegas, NV. We worked with them to develop and build the Threads commentator booth, a custom in-arena booth created for live posting. The booth was staffed by a rotating roster of athletes and influencers across the weekend, including Jalen Rose, Richard Jefferson, and ESPN analyst Malika Andrews. Even Connor Hayes, the Head of Threads at Meta, stopped by to join in on the action. The activation ended up being so successful that we then brought it to the Super Bowl and NBA Finals as well.
